Jersey Cow

Jersey Cows are known for their higher milk production rate. These can produce 18 liter to 25 liter of milk in every day. Produced milk has high fat content that has made it suitable for producing butter. These breed of dairy animals originate in the Channel Island of Jersey. Featured with small shape, these have around 500 kg weight on average.  Brown in appearance, Jersey Cows have long eyelashes and tough hooves. These can sustain under different climactic conditions for their strong immunity power. These breed of cows have higher fertility and maturity rate when compared to other species of dairy animals.
